I can't really argue with the fact that a good number of women grow up conditioned to hate themselves, and therefore, consistently choose terrible partners. It has always been an endless source of frustration for me watching my heterosexual sisters throw themselves at men like you described in the hope that it would somehow fix their dog shit level self-esteem.
