If you ever read Osho he is so clearly just a fucking arsehole who could come out with hallmark level sayings easily which impressed stupid rich kids.

When he "jokes" about sex or people being beneath him that's the truth, the rest of his teaching is really the joke.

His orange people were everywhere. You'd see bunches of them everyday. They were otherwise ordinary people, but in a sex cult, where you helped buy your guru 93 Rolls Royces, and only wore red/orange clothing.

One of them I knew was Megan, whose father was high up in a corporate machine. She rejected that life and changed her name to Vipassana when she became a Sannyasin. I think she moved up to the ranch and I lost touch.

they were happy. our government could not allow them to live as they were. why? because unless you are all divided and running in different directions and fighting with each other, THE GOVERNMENT CAN NOT TAX YOU AND CONTROL YOU.

when people are happy and living together in a peaceful community and the government shows up and asks for one million dollars in taxes, nobody will pay.

the corrupt and the perverse can not CONTROL a community that is living peacefully.

Well, there was that little issue of the machine gun squads, and the poisoning of the townspeople where they were trying to take over. All those people getting poisoned ruffled a few feathers, and brought a LOT of attention they were best off without.

and now there is that little issue of my being locked down unnecessarily and being coerced into getting injected with an unknown substance, etc, etc, etc..

bottom line, i would choose living in osho's community instead of living in the richest penthouse and driving bentleys.

the "machine gun squads" were simply osho's private security for the community, and our government does not take kindly to your handling your own security issues.. WE RUN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THAT IS FINAL.

I seem to recall her name being 'Ma'-something, the leader of the "private security" who went off the rails with the regulated guns, and the attack on the townspeople. Even without a government at all, the poisoning attack on the town would call for a counterattack to wipe out that community.

When you're running a cult, you need to keep your security forces under control for the safety of all your members, and that didn't happen. She went a little nuts and brought the whole thing down.
