Thanks for the recommendation, I know right lol? I don’t use webcam, and the few times I’ve had to for school zoom, the professor wants you using zoom lol it sucks. I now make sure I take a class where it isn’t necessary. Idk why but even as a young kid on skype I felt uncomfortable doing anything other than mic.

The classes I was in where zoom were necessary were terrible, I dropped them while there was still time so I could get money back. Which is unfortunate because one of those classes was Research Methods 2 (my second to last manditory class for me to graduate), so shit set me back.

I found out last semester teachers who use zoom are prone to making their own rules but thought it was a one off; this semester my rm2 teacher wanted to change the class time to 8 am from 430-645 pm (you can’t do that lol but she did. If we were in school she’d get in trouble as that’s a falsely advertised time), and we all had to be clean showered and shaven (and dressed, no sweats or pajamas, just like we were in real class), and we had to ask for permission to use the bathrooms in our own houses.

that woman was nuts. She was my second or third zoom class, I had to drop it to get my money back before it was too late.

Supposedly they’re actually letting us back in school next semester, but with the cdc talking about a more “powerful corona” strain coming in 7 months I’m doubtful as to how long this will last. They want things all digital like this.

I know these fuckups and "strange" rules from my time when i worked for T-Systems. They use a lot of Cisco-shit "because demand" and of course corona situation led to an increase in market share of already "too big to fail" products.

That is why i don't feel bad shilling for non-profit-software, even when it serves only as a suggestion what some "decider" can do beforehand to completely avoid or at least mitigate all these problems that occur with all this shitty software in productive (so critical) use.
