No. Just cut off their money. Once you take away the trillion dollars they get to play with every year, they will do what you want to get it back. That is what most right wing people have been saying all along

Republican-controlled Congress put the US $27 trillion in debt before January. They are famous for tax cuts for themselves, and destroying opportunities for the 99%, among other financial abuses.

First of all I dont give a damn about the republicans. The party leadership is just corrupt. I dont care for that retarded spending bill that was passed but they made a mistake. They cut taxes for some working people which was good. But they acquiesced to democrat spending demands which is bad. If they had rejected the deal, they could have just let the goverment shut down and let government employees go home. The government is broken. It need to be closed down the way chaes bank needs to be closed down. The government doesnt make anything. Its only job is to serve the workers who generate useful goods and services. But it cant do that anymore. Its just being run by billionaires. Look at all the cash they gave corporations as covid rescue plans. Welfare for billionaires. Its broken, shut it down already. Stop supporting the bureacracy. It cant fix any problems for working people.

Activism itself is not good or bad. It depends on what is being advocated and what solutions are proposed.

Activism for its own sake is meaningless. Its just a tantrum. I think this allows a lot of young people to have an opportunity to virtue signal their spiritual purity, while also socializing and getting a lot of attention which is also what young people like. But it is vain.

Do you get how shutting down traffic to make people look at you cuz ‘activism’ when you dont understand economics or climate science or energy is pure self-indulgence that accomplishes nothing?

All the major corporations on wall street are run by democrats. All the people that control federal agencies are democrats. Democrats are in complete control of the government and Wall Street and the justice system and education. And all of the major news outlets and Hollywood studios. Left wing socialist millionaires and billionaires are completely controlling the system and getting rich off it. Stop defending democrats. Biden’s crack head whoremonger is on the board of 4 or 5 chinese, russian and ukrainian companies. He’s corrupt. The democrats are corrupt. The republicans are corrupt. Take away their money. They dont deserve it and they arent entitled to it. Workers are entitled to keep their own money, not give it to theives.

I dont really know if thats black pill. I think we’ll be okay if we can deprive the bureacracy of the cash it needs to wield power.

Black pill would be like if I said “ we’re all fucked. Theres no hope. Well all be microchipped by billionaires. Just surrender.” I just dont think it means what you think it means.

I suppose you feel discouraged because I said critical things about XR but I feel that that particular brand of activism is not productive. Its more like exhibitionism.

This is just an idea, not an actionable solution.

If the Democrat infrastructure bill passes, wealthy people will get a higher tax, to help pay for the infrastructure repairs. That is a partial solution.

No, nothing about XR has changed in the discussion. They are still part of the solution.

I beg to differ. If left wing and right wing working americans united and demanded an end to income tax that is an actionable solution. And I dont need to create a traffic jam to do it.

Tell me why XR is part of the solution. All they do is self promote.

Its like PETA. I used think PETA was good because yay animals right? But after awhile I realized it was just a scam. They didnt convince anyone to stop eating meat or change their behavior. They just raised a lot of money for themselves and promoted a bunch of dumb celebrities to get naked “for animals” a meaningless gesture that only alieanated the average person. They were like egomaniacs that cared nothing for animals.

XR seems to be like that. They are flashy and making a name for themselves by lying in the streets or making some big dramatic gesture. But no solutions.
