At least they're making an effort to deal with corporate and government abuses, rather than merely talking about it online.

Are you going to keep being an establishment mouthpiece?
We all have lives away from these websites, socks. Don't be a twat. Do you think we all just sit around with our thumbs up our asses?

Supporting XR (as I do) is definitely not what an establishment mouthpiece does.

Continue living your life, socks. I just want you to quit trying to talk down on the users here, then fucking comment and post everyday. We do things in our personal lives, some of us are very active people, and some of us take an active interest in the well-being of our communities. This isn't some alt-right circle-jerk den like you've often tried to make it out to be. To firmly address the reason we are even talking right now: most people who take an active interest in talking about and learning about current topics, such as a good chunk of the folks you argue with here, do not "merely talk" about dealing with corporate and government abuses. They prepare and act accordingly.

I don't think you or I know the users here that well.
My concern was for criticism of XR, especially at Saidit, where I get notes from people that they don't vote, and that everything is bad, and there is no hope for anything. XR is actively trying to make a difference, which is more than many of us do.

"which is more than many of us do."
prove this, please.

You know it can't be proven. But if you look at the comments about not voting for one of the 2 leading candidates, contrasted with the general lack of anti-government protests in the US, and the demonization of the few protestors who support BLM and women by alt-right people, you'll have some evidence.
