I don't like either religion, but Islam is clearly, indisputably worse. It's not even close.

But hey, let's pass hate speech laws that prevent people from criticizing religions! Brilliant move.

You mean from criticizing the evil religion tearing down Christendom. You can blaspheme against Christianity all you want. No Scotland yard showing up on your doorstep then....

Islam didn't destroy Christianity. Christians did.

Maybe not nowadays, but America is partly founded by Christians fleeing other Christians.

Fundamentalist christians fleeing liberal christians so they could oppress each other in peace.

hatespeech law is already individually imposed :

it's more crazier in the middle east, you can be accused of everything being a christian.

They'll complain all day about how hard it is to be LGBT in the US, but God forbid they call out Saudi Arabia for literally executing gay people. I've seen people on the populist left call them out, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a mainstream Democrat who ain't been bought by the Saudis; they own just about every politician on both sides of the isle.

Would be interesting if there were a way to see how many shares the saudis, jews, chinese, and whoevers own of each politician, and what the breakdown is.

For all the jews in our government, it's probably more like different classes of stock, where the primary class is all owned by jews/israel, but the secondary classes are available for purchase by the saudis, chinese, or whoever.

There's probably a lot of unexpected or surprising stuff in that 'whoever' group. The 13 families, the catholics, satanists, intelligence agencies, and what other powerful groups?

How would you even calculate that? It's relatively easy to tell who owns them, but quantifying that is the difficult part; it ain't just donations to their re-election campaigns. Even then, you'd need proof that they acted in reciprocity, and that the bribe wasn't turned down.

It's definitely possible, but the question is if it's feasible.

It's more of a science fiction fantasy out of the Black Mirror, but it would be cool. Of course our current society wouldn't survive that level of reality.

The UK left is a wonderful example of this, particularly the Labour Party. They embrace anything any-Western or anti-majority, leading to these awkward coalitions of mutually antagonistic groups. They end up having to say one thing to one group, another to others, and then try to ensure none of these groups ever meet.

And they're anti-Semitic.

I feel like I’m over people’s inane political beliefs and moral contradictions. It’s become mental masturbation for me at least, at this point. That fucking dopamine feedback loop. I already know some of the dirtiest things the elite has done and believe in, I can imagine what dirty and horrible things they do I don’t know about, and calling people out for political beliefs this day is just low-hanging fruit...

The mental gymnastics they go through, how programmed they are.. you have to feel bad for them somewhere inside, what if that were you? Imagine if you felt as strongly about those things, as we do about the ‘truth’. That’d suck.

It’s just one big television series to me at this point, I don’t cry anymore I just laugh.

Respect for violence accounts for the seemingly inexplicable difference. A moslem will cut off your head if they perceive disrespect. The Christian/Right/Conservative 'Chad' prides himself on tolerating and helping his enemies. The weak respect the strong, whether they like them or not.
