It's been tried plenty of times in small scale communes.

Those either end with a handful of dominant personalities taking over or a sexual abuse scandal or both.

They're the ones who primarily benefited from the USSR's expansion into the rest of Eastern Europe. This is like asking the British how they feel about th he British Empire.
