it disadvantages women

It should 'disadvantage' anyone and everyone who can't meet the physical strength standard.

Anyone else see that recent video from Canada, where the two females pretending to be cops tried to arrest the kid with no mask ice skating outdoors?

During the first uk lockdown there was a 30+ parent fist fight near me over a kid's football match. They purposely send only 2 police women to break it up so because they knew they wouldn't be able to make any arrests, so they'd be no paperwork or crimes recorded. Then they wonder why the UK had so many die of covid.

They're called firemen for a reason.

Female firefighters in the Swedish city of Gothenburg have slammed the policy of physical strength tests for the city’s firemen as outdated and say it disadvantages women.

In greater Gothenburg, firefighters are given a certain number of physical tests, such as being able to bench press 30kg (66lbs) 35 times and be able to jump two metres in a standard long jump.

Yeah. You have to be able to physically carry out unconscious people.

Just lecture them on how unconsciousness is a social construct and leave. If they die it's their choice because they've been educated.

You've gotta be big enough to stop civilians and fellow firemen from trying to save people from burning buildings, sayeth lawyers everywhere

Outdated? Have doors become easier to knock down? Have people become lighter to carry? And did I miss the day the mass of water decreased?
