More than ever! Laughing at authority takes a modicum of their power away - and it reveals that the Emperor Wears No Clothes and their "authority" is illegitimate and their trust is broken.

The alternative is to crawl into a helpless ball and sob and hope it all ends, or just suicide end it all.

Also, there is no pandemic. It's a manufactured crisis blown way out of proportion, just like terrorism was less likely to kill you than a bee sting or slipping in your bathtub. The media and government perpetually lie to you so the corporatocracy can have more power.
