Fun fact: the German word for the English, dank, is 'feucht' (as in unangenehm feucht, muffig und typisch kalt).

Dank as feucht.

Ah... dank memes.

This site could use an official dank meme.

Did you use the bones, claws, and intestines?

Their claws are tiny, not much good, and there's not a whole lot of intestine to be worth. Plus, a lot of people don't know this, but gophers will carry their dead back to the dens. If you're quick you can harvest whole families at a time by using the leftover corpse as bait. Just whack em with a mallet as they pop up for the corpse. You probably heard about the game based on that.

Yep. It's called corpse baiting. It's awesome.

Tastes like chicken...

I was wondering if someone would recognize what it is. It's ginger slices in simple syrup. It is a frugal tip though. Ginger flavored syrup + carbonated water makes ginger soda. Or as a mixer it goes pretty well with vodka.

You sure are deleting a lot today.

I thought to myself - when initially writing that it's ginger: well duh! Not at my cleverest today....

The bud near the bottom makes it obvious. Although it could be any kind of liquid. Maybe I should do that with my ginger before it goes bad.

Ginger ferments beautifully too, but the sugar concentration in mine is hopefully too high for that since it's in a sealed glass jar and I don't want a ferment blowing up. The same idea, just more water would ferment into ginger beer.

I love the idea of fermenting my own beer, but have never made it over the hump of getting started.
