I'd say the truth is the 3d object and both the 2d projections, all taken together. There is a root truth that does not depend on perspective.
The problem is people think "Truth" is just one part of this whole, when it's really only one projection of a larger truth.

Maybe the 3d object is all we can grasp about a 4d object beyond our comprehension :-) I like this image because it reminds me not to argue just because my understanding seems contradictory to someone else's.
