What I’m seeing online is that lowers are considered firearms but 80%’s aren’t. I know nothing about firearms.

Also recommended:

  • Metrology equipment (surface plate, Gage blocks, Gage pins, etc.)
  • Bridgeport Mill (or similar)
  • Gun drill
  • Lathe
  • Tool maker (expert machinist)

The last item is the most difficulty to come by. Especially, if you're planning of manual fabrication (rather than CNC).

I would also recommend a 3d printer and plenty of ammo.
