A trillion fucking dollars... and it's not fighting the "coronavirus" it's fighting the market moves that might brankrupt the IMF. It's just protecting itself.

Exactly. A trillion is a billion million. At that rate, we should EASILY each one of us qualify for a paltry million.

Go knock on the door of your local Fed and tell them you're ready to receive JUST ONE MILLION to fight the coronavirus.

Because of course the Fed has just printed 4 TRILLION to "fight coronavirus"...

I completely agree on the sentiment. It's actually a thousand billion though, so we'd each get about a grand if they evenly dispersed it.

I would like a grand!

And on top of that, most people would probably just spend it immediately to pay off loans, so it'd just go in the bank's pockets anyway, and offer stability... I don't see why they don't do it that way. Instead of just keeping it trapped in some high-level banking pool us plebs can't access. Seems more stable to actually fix it at the roots. But that would lessen their control, and they are a greedy lot. Sad. When instead they could have great PR and a happy populace. They have a very short-sighted way of operating, and it will probably be their undoing.

Oh yeah hm, a billion million would be a quadrillion. My bad. English isn't my main language and the large numbers are done differently.

Ah yeah I can see how that'd be confusing, other languages group things by 4s instead of 3s I've heard
