I would avoid all pharmaceutical products. They may seem like viable options, but increased physical activity, ketogenic, meat-only diet; eggs/protein work far better. I only eat eggs because I don't like meat. Then, walk/hike, jog/run, climb, swim, move, move, move. Get mad and work out, the drugs never end up worth it. Vanity and appearance aren't all they're cracked up to be, just get healthy/healthier and you'll feel more energetic, enthusiastic and this brings more natural activity and you don't have to try as hard. Good luck with any of your decisions, fitness can't be understated.

Nothing short gastric surgery works to lose weight and keep it off.

Only 1 in 300 people can lose a large amount of weight through any kind of diet and keep it off after 5 years.

What is the 5 year success rate of gastric bypass? It's not pretty.
