The trouble with private healthcare is that people just keep changing doctor until they get the answer they want. Then only those doctors stay in business and the treatments available are not the ones people actually need.

One of my favorite recent TV moments was when the larger of the two "Thousand Pound Sisters" said that she couldn't exercise because she didn't have the equipment yet. Like, WTF... are you Tiger Woods or something? Walk around the damned block!

There is truth to why Americans are fat. It’s in out food, other adults from other countries come here and get fat.

There’s something in the water or the food.

It's mostly just added sugar.

There are lots of countries fatter than the USA but they don't have as high rates of type 2 diabetes because people don't have sugar in everything.

I wanted to study but my cat sat on me when I was on the couch (so she spent 7 hours watching tv and eating snacks).

That one is totally valid. Sometimes you just have to let your cat sit on you for hours while you don't disturb it. Just cat owner things.
