What I fail to grok is how all these countercultural environment types don't see through it. Like, aren't we protesting because we see that the government, media, charities and businesses are in cahoots? This isn't about capitalism, it's about power structures and corruption enabling large scale pollution. Corporate legislation and regulation is the only way to go, but there's not much political good will around that; better to push it onto Joe Average so he feels like he's the one responsible for the world's problems.
