This isn't shocking. This is "reality" for over seventeen years now in "western" construction.

My first "profession" is surveyor.

The "only" way, they'll use "real" concrete, if it has "requirements".

Nah. Their god was just doing what needed to be done to placate the masses. Dems needed something they could do for the govt to provide them deliverance.

These menial tasks, get vaccinated, recycle, gun control, abortion, climate, are all ways they pay penance to the govt for providing their salvation.

It's not that they don't see it and don't understand, it's that they don't care.
