Cloud seeding is a normal thing and has been happening for a long time. The means and how they do it differ from place to place, but to think that they are not filling the sky with something is just stupid.

Who, and to what end? These chemicals come from unregulated industry, not some cabal of cloud seeding... what? Airline CEOs?

Unlikely.

far more likely are that these chemicals come from federal, state, and local municipalities and government which often times mandate recycling but then typically burn significant amounts of waste. Their unrestricted operations are far more consequential, and they generally answer to no one and most citizens give them a pass as govt is their savior.... looking out for them (sure you'll take that experimental COVID inflection because u say it's good for me ).

Private industry by it's very mature must be cognizant of long term ramifications as they face scrutiny through legal and monetary means, unless as we've seen in the past 75 years or so, where govt gives them a pass at the people's expense
