Collins said water needed to be used more efficiently in homes and businesses, by implementing metering nationwide and reducing leakage in our supply networks.

They don't have water meters in UK? How are they billing people?

They estimate based on the number of bedrooms and power showers a house has.

Okay but . . . when we had slip-n-slide birthday parties, that doesn't have anything to do with the number of bedrooms. IDK it's just a cultural difference and (obviously) my culture is superior for me LOL I'm sure britbongs would be happy to argue about this, just like the power outlet differences.
