Ironic, as they've been converting their forests into public housing for third world migrants.

I mean they can just sell the land to another farmer or give it to their kids and still get the money so maybe this is just a retirement scheme as none of them bought pensions.

There is specifically a provision that they get to keep the land if it's turned to woodland.

Which isn't really a great motivator to do that as woodland probably isn't worth much to them.

They get paid to not farm, and live near a forest. Why would you not? Assuming you don't want people to have food.

Holy shit it's really happening all over the world now. What the hell is this? Gates, WEF, what?

Besides, UK has lots of land that can be used for the purpose that isn't farmed.

The food will be imported. Once that happens the government can control the supply of food very easily.

what happens when all the countries do the same thing? Netherlands, the #2 exporter in the world is forcing farmers out now. Ireland and Canada are looking at the same thing.

It must be remembered that people are carbon-based life. YOU are the carbon they want to reduce.

I understand the game. Farming has been at the forefront of most innovation and is at the point that very few farms can produce enough to feed the world. For example, the farms that bill gates bought.

As Co2 goes up farms will become much more productive.

In the US a lot of the farms have been captured through the Monsanto scheme. At any moment they can coordinate a drought, economic recession, and price hikes to destroy those farms and take them over.

Then they will start poisoning the food with "approved additives" and no one will be able to track down the cause of all the illnesses because the vast majority of available food will be poisoned.

If at any point there is a threat of uprising they will starve the peons.
