Nobody tells me about the children Maddie and Jonathan had so I really don't know... As you may know, I'm the black sheep of the family so they never tell me what is going on with the family. Is that true about the dams affecting the moon's orbit? Because I wouldn't doubt it.

I forget the specifics but it was something along the lines how moon affects ocean tides. Because they put such a massive body water were there wasn't one before it slowed earths rotation by a tiny amount.

Yeah, I've heard that straits cause the earth's rotation to slow down a tiny bit. [BTW, I saw a video about the dam and it mentioned the fact that it causes the Earth's rotation to slow ever so slightly. The vid was <simon winchester three gourges dam>]
