India was being gobbled up by Islam until the British stopped that nonsense. The British did much harm, but saved Hinduism. I'm all for that. So, jolly good for Britain on that score. Once a country goes Muslim, It never goes back. We almost lost Spain to those monsters, remember? Afghanistan once was Buddhist. How'd that work out? So although Britain controlled and plundered much of India, India is overall better for the experience. Namaste!
