I assigned myself the flair "Liberal" and this also doesn't work on me.

Ah, we have found a pattern finally! This is good. I guess because I am admin instead of mod, it apparently behaves differently when I change flairs.

I am going to try making a user account mod here on this sub and see if I can replicate it on that account real quick.

I used the same tag that failed for you here on myself as a mod. It shows up for me. But your flair does not. So it may have something to do with your account, rather than the flair system

Perhaps, it's very odd.

I'm alerting /u/d3rr to this issue.

To summarize the issue D3rr, basically the flair won't display if the flair has quotes around it, but that only happens to /u/papiersackratte and not myself nor any regular user account I make mod. After the flair with quotes is saved, and the ability to display flair disappears for that user permanently. However the edits still save in the mod flair editing page, it displays properly there. So it is saving. But anywhere else in the sub the flair is not displayed, and changing it back to one without quotes does not bring back the flair for that user. Everyone sees the flair as missing. But it only happens for this mod when he edits double quotes. He's replicated it himself and others, but I can't replicate it with any other account.

Database destabilization, maybe need to REINDEX? I can't think of another reason why one mod would have this issue with flair quotes deleting flares for a user forever, but another mod wouldn't have this problem.

One last question, what page exactly are you using to edit the user flairs to make them fail? https://saidit.net/s/deutsch/about/flair/ or a different page?
