This post is an example of just how easy someone can be doxed and have their lives destroyed by someone dedicated enough to pick up on clues and patterns, even on a semi anonymous site like reddit.

The user does say that the person who dmmed him said he would "rape his wife and kill him" which if true gives him a bit more justification. Very convenient that was left out in the main post though.

In general, I'd say randomly insulting people with no substance in general is foolish. This user is not going to change their mind, from his post history, he seems pretty politically moderate, not an absolute anti White shitlib and this type of exchange pushes him more towards that end. Our conduct has to be practically perfect, we cannot afford fuck ups, every action and word we say has to have value.

It does go into a fair amount of detail and the user does have a consistent post history.

Obviously opsec is important, but most of these stories are made up.

I've read the post, it sounds like you typical reddit made up story. Your still right, we should try to stay anonymous to prevent doxing.

A few things stand out about this.

Normal human beings would see this post and think the OP was a completely unhinged piece of shit, yet all the comments are in support of him and he's upvoted. This is because subs of this kind are used to intimidate people into towing the preferred line. The OP himself appears to be a neocon shill, commenting frequently on Ukraine and always pushing neocon talking points. The pro commenters also appear to be largely shills as well, with the same neocon talking points pushed on Ukraine and the same partisan kosher sandwich bullshit. This kind of post shows what a disgusting shill filled nightmare scape Newhouse owned reddit has become. The recent twitter files showed that even twitter was full of shills, and twitter isnt anywhere near as full of propaganda as reddit became under Jewish ownership.

As has been said before, its also noticeable that the suspected shills on this sub all seem to frequent the same shill filled subs on reddit. This one and public freakout. Anyone who doesnt think nasser/salos, radical_centrist, and someone named 8thmonitor(likely a salos alt) aren't similiar shills are fools. They hang out on those subs for a reason, and their concern troll posts serve the same purpose as this post did on reddit, with the added bonus of doing opposition research here.

The story may not have actually taken place as described, but the opsec mistakes the poster claimed to have exploited are definitely mistakes we should avoid.

Never ever ever use a real email account to start an account which you use for politics. Use temporary email addresses. There are tons of sites that offer them if you search. So many have been dozed because they registered an account with their usual email.

Use a secure password and use different passwords on each site. Have a password manager.

Throw in some fake info on your posts. Say you live in a different town, make small lies about yourself in order to make it seem less like you.
