Yes, they supposedly do, especially with euro tanking. GDP per capita shortened as pc. Per person.

I have Masters' degree in economics. I hate how GDP becomes d*ck measuring contest without people knowing what it is.

Mississippi's GDP per capita is $42,411. Germany's GDP per capita is $50,801. France's GDP per capita is $43,518. A quick Google search was enough.

By the way, your link is from 2009.

That data from 2009 is likely the result of quantitative easing. The EU did austerity on the other hand.
