I'm not sure how this is playing out. I think it would be worth it for Twitter to return to its pre-2018 state where people up and down the political spectrum were present.

The only issue is that modern advertisers don't want to see non left-wing talking points go mainstream.

Hence why Musk is trying to find alternative ways to keep Twitter well funded so he doesn't have to rely on them or let them dictate the platform.

I hope he chooses the best route. But then there may still be those averse to Musk's antics in general, whether it be those playing the impersonation game or electing to leave for Tumblr or Mastodon. I wouldn't want this to become anything like Gab because we already have such a thing.
