What will happen if he can't pay it? Will he go to the jail?

If he can't pay, the court will seize his assets and garnish future earnings as part of a forced payment "agreement". If he attempts to avoid garnishment or refuses to make payments, he can be found in contempt and put in jail. They do this all the time to men who can't afford alimony or child support payments. It's a modern day debtors prison for men.

I think it's the same thing as Charlottesville IE there's a cap on how much you actually have to pay, not sure though. Either way, Musk has said he's paying it. (fake screenshot!)

Hmm I think I was memed by fake news. I saw a screenshot of a tweet from Musk's account saying he would pay the settlement but I can't find the tweet.
