This doesn't prove anything really, just a case of her word against his, of course she's going to try and paint him in the worst possible light in her memoir. Needs to be hard evidence, still doesn't justify his murder. I'm surprised she's still alive to be honest.

We will probably never know exactly what happened between her and him. I'm going to go ahead an post judge Emmett and trust the white woman. What motivation does she have to lie in this scenario? Do you think it's just fun to watch her husband beat up innocent teens?

I'm curious what you would have done if your wife had come to you and told you some out of town teen had harassed her sexually.

Those men shouldn't have been put in the situation they were in (forced into policing an inappropriate teen).

Ideally we need a society that keeps non whites away from whites. Why? Because non whites and whites have different standards of conduct. Whites enact justice differently than non whites. If Emmett Till had never been allowed to slink around white women then the local white men wouldn't have had to defend the honor of Ms. Bryant. White men have always lived by a pretty strict honor system. Fuck with a man's women and expect to get your ass beat or worse. Also from what I've heard there's plenty of other evidence besides Carolyn's memoir that Emmett was inappropriate with her. The father was a convicted rapist. Should Emmett have been killed? Maybe not but when there's no justice in the legal system men are forced to resort to more primitive means of defending their wives and daughters.

Any man of substance knows that standing by as a cuck is not an option.

Her motivation to lie is to improve and sanitize her image after what happened. She didn't have to watch it either.

If that happened, I would have contacted police, notified neighbors and gone and confronted the teen, I wouldn't have brutally murdered and mangled him.

There's nothing honorable about what they did, a right to a fair trial and justice is one of the core standards White's have incorporated into our legal system.

His father being a convicted rapist means really nothing, there are plenty of father and sons that are completely different. Till barely knew his father.

No justice in the legal system? Are you aware this happened in the 1950s Deep South? The same place that executed innocent Black teenagers and acquitted them of murder.

I'm not a simp for Blacks at all, but I recognize this case as an injustice and it is one of the key events that kicked off the civil rights movement and lulled many northern Whites into supporting it.

Which is what? She just made it all up?

Lynchings were not solely for Blacks, Whites would be lynched for crimes same as Blacks. Only difference is Blacks as always commit way more crime

Maybe exaggerated it, I don't know, even still, given the impact that event had on the civil right movement and her husband and brother admitting to it after being acquitted, it was in her best interest to do so.
