This is why the argument that a few hard core dedicated revolutionaries ala the bolsheviks(who were funded and protected by international jewry), or the National Socialists(who had widespread German military and societal support) can overthrow the system is outdated nonsense. If the system started to collapse tomorrow they would simply use modern technology to identify, round up and charge or even assasinate every potential dissident, and it would all be completely censored or justified through media propaganda, including astrotufed social media.

Drones, security cameras, satellite imagery, geolocation through smart phone/internet usage, controlled social media organizing mobs and snitches, NSA hacking, etc means they could identify and track down every potential dissident without breaking a sweat. Talk about military shit is irrelevant. A potential insurgency, civil war, or even mass protest movement would be snuffed out overnight through the high tech security state and media propaganda.

If things were getting troublesome they could simply shut down the internet and cell phone usage in entire regions. The famous internet kill switch the president apparently has control over. They could contract assasinations out to Latin American cartels, gangs, or even paramilitary/ controlled vigilante style organizations like antifa, or just unofficial security contracters or mossad agents on loan. And of course if things get truly desperate they could false flag chem or bio attacks(or simply carry them out and censor it).

This is all with tech they currently have available right now. Never mind whats in development or could pop up in the future.

The system will collapse through it's own dysfunction, debt, incompetence, and wickedness causing mass non compliance and resistance(including from people within the system), and sheer unpopularity combined with desperation of the population, not because some dedicated larpers march around in coordinated outfits chanting slogans(I mean that worked great at charlottesville amirite?)

There is a difference between a realistic view of the powers available to the system and sheer fantasies about omnipotent liberal despots. Just because a capability exists (and most of the ones you listed either do not exist or are illegal) does not mean that it will, or can, be used. Most political failures are by nature preventable and consist precisely in the inability of a specific political actor to take action that it could have undertaken - the reason for that can be lack of courage, lack of consensus, lack of vision etc.

The fact is that Westerners live in liberal democratic states. Boris Johnson's government just went down because a Conservative politician groped two men. Do you seriously believe that a government - any government - would be able to get away with violently suppressing a mass protest movement? Even the authoritarian Chinese regime could barely muster up the consensus to do that. Political systems are not invincible, least of all those in the West. Western politicians - and yes, journalists too - have to worry about their reputations and careers. They can't just do whatever they want, regardless of what you may believe.

This is a mix of incoherent statements, some of which contradict the rest of your post, with a strawman thrown in at the end for good measure.

There is no substitute for political organising and education.

You must not live in the US. We had entire neighborhoods taken over by armed antifa gunmen. In one case they shot up an SUV with 2 black kids in it, killing one, and then methodically destroyed all evidence before allowing police into their self proclaimed autonomous zone. No one was ever charged, no one was even doxxed despite the killers being taped bragging about the shooting.

Not to mention the months of rioting. People killed, pulled out of cars and severely beaten, with no charges. 2020 was a test run for what they could stoke up and get away with.

So nothing I said was far fetched or by any means impossible if things get worse here. We no longer have consistent rule of law or accountable leaders. They can get away with whatever those who control the political system, legal system and media want them to get away with.

The left do what they do because they are very organised, highly militant, and operate in an atomised society. If there were strong local communities, they would not be able to riot. It is not easy to build communities, but the only alternative to that is passive acceptance. Without communities, no amount of discontent will have any effect.

Your old joe next door could slaughter them with an AR-15 but the cops would shoot him dead instead. This is the problem of the US. The law protects the criminals and punishes anyone that tries to defend himself from them.
