Yet Japan is still an ethnostate, and perhaps the only developed country to turn away refugees. And they still ban same-sex marriage.

Compared to what happened to the rest of the world during the 2010s, Japan was spared the worst horrors that the West is still dealing with.

Most of Europe is still composed by ethnostates, the only notable exception being possibly France and Germany. France forbid any race based census so it's all guessing, and Germany well it's mostly Turks so we need to see how they integrate in the society, there isn't a broad genetic gap. This obsession with Japan is insane.

If it was that simple, why would there be any alt-right movements right now?

Europe is clearly in a much more precarious state. Like take Sweden. Technically they're still White, yet they are dealing with grenade attacks and no go zones. Not to mention, practically all of Europe was affected by the 2015 migration crisis:

The fact that people can only bring up diapers, and not 3rd worlders raping Japanese people is proof that they're country is still in better demographic standing.

Even the countries that I mentioned with majority white populations, still have chaotic policies to replace themselves down the line.
