Do they just bow their heads and "pretend" to drink the kool-aid? Do they avoid talking to others (like SJW types within the company) whenever possible? Or do they simply quit and find other careers?

Yes to all.

Yes, just kept my mouth shut whenever group woke discussion happened. It's maddening, but you have no other option. Speaking out against it would be career ending.

Yes, if you run into pushy SJW types, you just don't engage with them or agree with them. Some will press you. There's no reason to debate them. That's what they want. Debating them will escalate into an incident of them being offended, resulting in being fired and blacklisted. Only a moron would debate an SJW from work. Rules apply outside the workplace also.

Yes, I left the corporate grind after 8 years. I didn't fit in well and I was rather unhappy. I also sat at a desk all day which is very unhappy. I started my own business that serves the community and I am much happier and healthier.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I was doing research on jobs, and I was horrified to find out that almost every company these days has a "chief diversity officer". I thought it was a meme or joke position, but nope, they're being pushed heavily in every industry, and they even made their way into Europe.

It's literally the modern day Political Commissar, that the Soviets created.

The chief diversity officer position is childs play compared to the other shit you run into.
