Curb Your Enthusiasm as Anti-Jewish Propaganda

Anyone here watch or like Curb Your Enthusiam? (at least the early to mid seasons). I am rewatching this again with my lady, and am reminded why I love this show so much. It is tantamount to a frank, no holds barred expose on how truly horrible Hollywood Jews are. Anyone who has lived in New York City or Long Island knows Suzie fits a certain stereotype.

Some of the episodes that are particularly noteworthy include:

  • Trick or Treat
  • The Baptism episode (not sure how religious Christians could ever tolerate Jews marrying into the family, or a son or daughter converting)
  • The Nativity scene episode. \
  • The Ski Left. Ridicules orthodox Jewry mercilessly. The bit about pulling strings to get preferential treatment in a kidney waiting list is terrible.
  • The End. Larry briefly thinks he was adopted and is actually gentile. Acts like a decent, outstanding human being, showing how shitty most Jews are.
  • The episode where a hot hasidic Jew for some inexpliacabe reason wants to get fucked by Larry, and brings a sheet to the hotel room....

THis is just up through Seaon Five. There is also an episode in Season Two or Three where Jeff essentially does a Harvey Weinstein casting couch bit. The funny thing is that white gentile men have sit back and allow these disgusting people procure the crown jewels of our womanhood, procuring and debasing the most alluring and desirable women. Don't blame Hans und Fritz.

I've watched this show and and off and it's usually been funny. Larry David is a comic Genius. Calling the show anti Jewish propaganda is an exagerration, but David definitely seems aware of and willing to make fun of some characteristic Jewish behavior, maybe to the point he exhibits a little bit of passive aggressiveness towards fellow Jews. He also seems willing to poke fun of himself in this way.

Some of the more intelligent and self aware Jews seem to be very aware of both the truth of and how fucked up some of this stereotypical jewish behavior is. The disturbing thing is that many of them dont care. I have been consistently amazed when these hostile Jewish ethnic activists will fairly accurately recount the criticisms of Jews they label anti-semitism. They know full well what some of these legitimate criticisms are, that they are accurate, and that Jews should be worried about the backlash they can cause. However their reaction isnt to make the slightest attempt to change this behavior, but to shut down and censor all criticism of this behavior and attack, punish and blacklist the people who speak about it.

If it is a exaggeration, not by much. Some of the storylines, behaviors could be done by Goebbels himself.

I never liked Seinfeld but like this show for reasons I stated.
