In this hilarious interview segment Maher and Shapiro claim that what Putin is doing in Ukraine is the opposite of a Blitzkrieg. They say he's bogged down. He's entered a quagmire. This is absurd. It took Germany 35 days to defeat Poland, which was not only hopelessly outgunned, but also invaded by the Soviets from the East. Even the stunning German victory against France, the Low Countries, and the British Expeditionary Force took almost 6 weeks. How on Earth is Putin bogged down in Ukraine after only 19 days? Why are so many Westerners spouting this ridiculous nonsense?

Funny how everyone is trying to dunk on russia for conquering a country "too slowly" because they aren't carpet bombing it first

Straw victory nonsense to convince people that the "good guys" are winning, i.e. they've invented some useless metric that somehow discredits the very real capability of the Russian military by attaching it to a real but irrelevant variable.. It's like "Drumpf" got translated into Russian.

TV has ruined people's brains, everybody thinks wars end in three days max (36x longer than DA MOOOVVEEEE).

However despite this, I think negotiations in near future will be fruitful, Zelensky has no other choice.
