Because it's an issue affecting all 1st world nations and is arguably the 2nd biggest threat to demographics (the 1st being immigration). If they can reverse it, then it sets an example for us to follow.

I meant South Korea specifically. Also I don't believe there is much of an example to follow here.

I don't understand your sentence.

The birth rates are an issue in South Korea for the same reason every nation below replacement rate need to address it.

Also I don't believe there is much of an example to follow here.

Let me rephrase it.

Declining birth rates is very important for a nation to address.

I don't get why South Korea addressing this is a good thing for non-South Koreans. The only way I can see it is as a case study of how decline of feminism affects a nation.

South Korea correcting the trend represents a success story. It would serve as proof to other world leaders and governments that you don't need mass migration to save your country from doom.

Of course, they [foreign governments] could always choose to ignore it, but people like us would have this information on file.
