I'm sure I'm one of many who have absolutely no problem with whites saying the word, nigger, even in the industry. I am not sure this alone will warrant a cencellation in due course, but of course Spotify has to look after its customer base, many of whom are black. Blacks buy a ton of music and music streaming. What got me was the story Rogan told of driving into a predominantly black neighborhood, having to get out of the car and realizing he was in the Planet of the Apes, and continuing to joke about it. That's fucked-up. It was also India Arie's first example when she cancelled Spotify. He is after all a commedian and many of his black colleagues probably haven't been too worried about him saying nigger, but the Planet of the Apes? Ouch.
