Yesterday I read about a man named Cecil Rhodes, who had an inspiring impact on the world. At some points, he did have to work with Jewish oligarchs to accomplish his goals. However, unlike the wealthy elites of today, he used his wealth and power to help his own ethnic group. Rhodes was a ruthless businessman, but his heart was in the right place at the time by dedicating his life's work to expanding the power and wealth of his own people, the British. He helped found the country of Rhodesia and was the architect for the Natives Land Act of 1913 in South Africa, which protected white farmers.

Cecil Rhodes is so despised today that his birthplace was renamed in response to Black Lives Matter. Rhodes died at the age of 48, yet accomplished so much. I agree that white imperialism is obsolete. I am not an imperialist and I oppose anyone who pushes the ideas of imperialism as a modern remedy, but that doesn't change my opinion that Cecil Rhodes belongs in the category of great men.

Reading about Rhodes got me thinking, who are the great men of our time? I struggle to think of great men who are accomplishing anything for our people. Where are men like Theodore Roosevelt and Cecil Rhodes today?
