I agree with what you've said, but I think a lot of these pro vax people supposedly on our side are disingenuous, right now Pfizer is testing out a vax for 6 month old infants and they are saying they'll need 3 shots instead of the usual 2. I do not believe for one second than any of these people would inject their 6 month old with this poison (not that anyone wouldn't but dissidents specifically). Only someone incredibly cynical or cowardly would think it's fine to inject a 6 month old with this for a disease that doesn't effect infants at all. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/pfizer-testing-third-covid-vaccine-dose-young-kids-rcna9148

This is kinda what I expected, he pretends to be for giving the vax to his hypothetical 6 month old infant, but he wont even take a booster himself.

I don't even think he would take the first shot if he could redo it, I think he's just extremely cynical about being coerced by a faggot to get a vax.

Nope, the vaccines were always necessary. It dramatically stopped the virus from ripping through the population with deadly results.

The ones who refused to believe this have always been a drain on our healthcare system. It literally makes no sense why these people are given first class treatment:

https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/coronavirus/inside-an-icu-where-70-per-cent-of-covid-19-patients-are-unvaccinated-1.5738198

But 500,000 other surgeries were delayed or cancelled instead.

It should not surprise anyone why Quebec lashed out and became the first province to issue fines. The quack conspiracies are costing us money, so they might as well pay into this system instead.

Why don't you tell us what you want to do with us bro? A recent poll shows 45% of democrats want to put us into camps and a higher percentage want to block us from food *. Thoughts?

*interesting how anyone that said that was a 'crazy conspiracy theorist' last year. paging /u/dissidenthr and /u/ethnocrat It's funny how those 'radical conspiratards' always end up being right about things.

That doesn't surprise me at all. Where did I call this a crazy conspiracy theory?

Believe it or not, my policies (regarding Covid) are very moderate.

I still think the #1 issue was banning all international movement & closing down airports. Had that been done, pandemic would have been over 2 years ago.

Second option would have been to segregate society. All vaccinated people would have financial incentives and healthcare preferences over the non-vaxxed. It's actually very effective. Both Quebec & France had immediate success with issuing ultimatums, it lead to people getting their 1st dose in droves.

https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/thousands-sign-up-for-1st-dose-of-covid-19-vaccine-as-quebec-threatens-to-tax-the-unvaxxed-1.5736806

And that's it. All the other stuff about camps or blocking food are not related to the pandemic. If someone wants to order Mcdonalds, by all means, they can do it. There's even an app that can deliver food to their homes, so they have no excuse to complain about mandates starving them. The option to order online or do curbside pickup was there since the start of the pandemic...

Yeah I don't believe you, because if you actually believed that your response to someone asking why you didn't get the booster wouldn't be because it's not forced by law, no one who actually believes in the effectiveness of this would be waiting to be vaxxed at gun point, you'd have got it the first day it was available where you live.

[–]radicalcentristNational Centrism 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Actually no, there are two problems with your post:

  1. Due to supply issues, the boosters being offered in my country are Moderna. Since I've taken Pfizer and it's considered the most effective vaccine, I can only get a 3rd shot when it's actually available.

  2. None of the [current] vaccines were made with omicron in mind. For maximum effectiveness, I would prefer to wait for March and actually get the booster that will tackle it.

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/10/covid-vaccine-pfizer-ceo-says-omicron-vaccine-will-be-ready-in-march.html

In which case, no one should have an excuse to not get it. If the government updates the mandate to include this, I would support it all the way.

But regardless, the entire system needs rework. If international travel was banned, variants would be contained. No new variants = no new vaccines or booster requirements. Pandemic would be over.

Yeah I get that that is your reasoning, but it falls flat when the people you trust are telling you to mix vaxxes, and you don't know what supposed new variant will even be around in march. What is more revealing is when someone asked you why you haven't gotten it and you said it's not required by law.

[–]radicalcentristNational Centrism 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I assume millions of other people have already mixed vaccines, so I'm not actually afraid or doubt its effectiveness.

and you don't know what supposed new variant will even be around in march.

This is why I continue to advocate for closing down the airports and quarantining the infected. I want to stop future variants before they could spread again.

What is more revealing is when someone asked you why you haven't gotten it and you said it's not required by law.

I'm a lazy person, and our healthcare system right now is still prioritizing 1st & 2nd doses for the people who never got them. If we never had these supply issues, then yea, I would have asked for a 3rd Pfizer booster, just like how I would get a new flu shot.
