Many of the world's immigrants are poor and grew up in places where there is a rape culture and general abuses of women, and it should be a requirement of their new country to provide training and legal processes that will ensure the safety (as much as possible) of women in the new country.

(Pick any group that might belong to your ethnic background, but includes rape culture, and you'd not think you were racist. Read again: the issue is economic, not ethnic.)

I hope you'll realize that my comments - copied here - are not about specific ethnic groups.

It's sad that responses to my original comment are only addressing racist ideas, rather than economic hardship.

You might want to be more careful in the future. Your xenophobic bigotry could easily get you in a lot of trouble if you made these comments without your pointed white hood of internet anonymity.

So - you must be joking - as there are few people who are so stupid as to read my comment as xenophobic. Troll someone else, or go to school, whichever you seem to need.

Suggesting that poor immigrants need to be educated by swedes out of raping people is offensive to me. You're also reinforcing stereotypes about immigrants and the poor. And you're spreading the "false" racist narrative that immigrants are more likely to rape. Rule no. 1, your intent doesn't matter.

Be careful bro. You seem like a good guy and your'e finally coming to our side. I don't want to see you escorted out of the building by security.

No - this is not at all what I've discussed. You obviously don't know or especially don't want to know how to read the comments I posted.

Regarding the education of immigrants - I refer to all of them everywhere (not just in Sweden). These programs already exist for immigrants in many countries, and include opitons to learn the national language, customs, traffic laws &c. I said nothing out of the ordinary about this. The addition necessary for this education is a component about women's rights and how not to harrass them. All naturalization processes include handbooks and tests that can include these additional approaches.

If you do not understand naturalization processes, or don't want to look them up, leave it at that. Stop embarrasing yourself with responses that are unrelated to my initial comments. Moreover: stop being so aggressive in your approaches to claim that the initial comments were racist, when they certainly weren't. It's a pathetic approach.

The right approach in real life here is to apologize.

Yes, we all know this racist myth extends beyond swedish immigrants. We all remember when Donald Trump spread these lies about undocumented Americans in his famous campaign speech when he said "they're rapists".

he's saying the problem is economic, poor people rape women, not brown people. Ok well I guess that means we can't allow poor people to immigrate.
