One might speak of the ideological concept of "whiteness" or even race altogether being separate from the localized ethnic reality people live in, you could even point to it as a socially destructive force (by superseding local communal relationships with a trans nationalist one). But of course all these people criticizing "whiteness" support the system replacing and destroying people with the label "white" so this is largely a pointless and harmful mode of inquiry, at least until our communities are stabilized and healthy again.
