Apparently the majority of backs in Minneapolis voted against defund the police

I heard Bill Maher say this. The majority of blacks voted against it, but the majority of whites voted in favor of it. I can't find the data on the internet though.

You have to understand that blacks are being gaslit just as badly as whites are. Of course defunding the police would be an utter catastrophe for blacks in cities like this, along with anyone else unlucky enough to live in such a city. Jewish media and astroturfing oligarchs like Soros werent pushing this defund the police shit because they care about blacks, they pushed it because they want to harm and intimidate whites and sow maximum chaos, and because local police that are majority white are seen as a threat to Jewish hegemony and control. Hostile Jewish "elites" aim to dismantle any institution or group that might defend whites in the event of a collapse of the system, and local police are seen as such institutions, hence their war on local police while worshipping federal police that protect Jewish power aka the capital police, the FBI, etc.

Not directly a source as this is polling data. But I would say that even though it's not a majority, 42% is still a substantial amount. I'm indifferent to this issue so I don't have much to say about it.

I'm indifferent to it happening in Minneapolis. I think there are some things that people need to learn the hard way, and I haven't really seen a substantial right wing swing among Minnesotans. If they are going to largely be race-blind leftists after everything that has happened at least in the last decade, maybe the department of public safety is what they need.

That's solid reasoning. I took your comment about being indifferent to mean you simply didn't think anything about it. Being indifferent because you think it's good medicine is probably where many right leaning whites stand.

I'm leaning pro abolishment for the same reasons, but I do have concerns. Wealthy white leftists have a bad habit of turning areas into crime infested no-go zones, then fleeing to new white havens or walling themselves off.

Yeah, that's fair. I'm not really sure what the dissident right's position on the defunding matter is, but I will say in a better world defunding the police would simply not be something that is even considered. I'm not blind to the importance of law enforcement, but I also think police are as bad as they are largely due to the abuse they get from minorities, and the measures they have to now take to keep the peace. But that's not terribly important right now.

If this were the 1960s I think it's very likely the shitlibs would pack up and leave. Minneapolis would go the way of Detroit or Chicago or St. Louis. Maybe that will still happen today, white flight is definitely still happening, I know as much.

    I don't like the shortened phase "white flight" due to pejoration by the left. I prefer the longer phase: "white people literally running for their lives to avoid unpoliced [ethnic] crime." It's far more descriptive that it's a right to flee for one's life and to places that will be safe.

    That's only part of the white flight story. Not all of them, in fact I would argue most of them, aren't fleeing for their lives from ethnic crime because they move to other places and propose the same things that destroyed their original neighborhoods. Plenty of whites fled from up north to the south, for example, but they are the most race-blind and leftist people you will encounter, as is the case for a lot of urbanites fleeing shitty neighborhoods or states.

    I am. On the one hand, the police are the mindless thugs enforcing stupid tyranny, but on the other, they sometimes keep the worst elements of crime in check.

    Yeah I know, I was looking for a source. I don't doubt Maher's claim, but I wasn't able to find a source directly backing it up, sorry.

    I watched Bill Maher's show for the first time in a couple years, and I was shocked by how he looked. He's lost weight, but not in a good way. Looks frail or sickly.

    On topic, makes sense to me. In black communities the police, abusive as they can be, investigate murders and serious crime. They're needed in crime ridden communities.

    That entitled, hyper vigilant everyone as a potential threat shit bristles more in nonviolent white areas.
