Did you see this part Markimus from the third day?

She also said the defendants never expected their planning communications to be seen in public or a court room, but then later argued that they communicated using codes – “front stage and backstage communications” - to hide their intent if it was made public.

Now where have I heard that argument before? Maybe in connection with a certain WW2 event?

Trial Day 3 is up now on NJP: https://national-justice.com/charlottesville-trial-part-iii-day-highs-and-lows-plaintiffs-and-defendants-opening-statements

Also if anyone is interested legalinsurrection.com is following the Rittenhouse trial which I think is also still in jury selection.

This part from day VI had me howling: https://national-justice.com/current-events/charlottesville-trial-part-vi-plaintiffs-attorney-monopolizes-day-interrogating

“There was a total divorce between yourself [Spencer] and myself in the lead up,” Heimbach said. “I’ve always viewed you as a bit of a dandy.”

Spencer paused and said, “Ok.”

[–]MarkimusNational Socialist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

lol, I can imagine exactly how Spencer would have said that, would've been funny as fuck to see it

Striker, Keith Woods and Joel Davis are streaming right now if you wanna catch it.

Is Richard Spencer going to testify against Kessler, Anglin, and TRS?

This could satisfy the petite Fuhrer's lust for revenge. His retribution at the plebs who dared question his divine leadership.

He's an egomanic but he's not retarded, anything that hurts any single defendant compromises everyone. It's in the interest of everyone to at least be somewhat on the same side.

Transcript of Cantwell's opening statement which I think is a good tactic for him.

I'd give anything to have heard it in the court room.

Slightly OT but is anyone following the Rittenhouse trial and did you see that the ADA -- who seems to be totally incompetent and losing horribly -- was wearing a Star Wars Rebel Alliance pin on the lapel of his jacket? Our ruling class is evil, stupid and fucking cringe all at once.

[–]DisgustResponse 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Any way to make donations to the defendants?

Unfuckingbelievable.

If and when they appeal, they must, and move the venue and get an honest judge, this will be laughed out of court. Did they even admit the police report? Of course how could we see the trial since THIS one was hidden for fear people would hear the defendants themselves and [insert FBI "whole Jew thing" meme here].

[–]Fonched 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

How are the defendants going to address the primary claim found throughout news articles, that there was a conspiracy through the numerous online messages collected?

[–]literalotherkinNorm MacDonald Nationalism 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Name the online messages you think are proof of a 'conspiracy' with malice aforethought to commit violence.

[–]Fonched 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Basically what was part of the whole Discord/Daily Stormer thing - it's up in the air right now with Lipstadt's role in the trial.

[–]literalotherkinNorm MacDonald Nationalism 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Deborah Liptstadt? What's her role? Haven't heard anything about that.

Also Anglin has been given a default judgement. He's not part of the trial now.

Edit: Looked it up. Great, unbiased expert witness who I'm sure will spend half the time talking about the Irving trial.

[–]Fonched 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Apparently Lipstadt signed on as witness, primarily to analyze symbols, tropes and perceived intents of the UTR protesters.

Yes, I do know. Still it's other people associated with the network that are on trial right now, and the rhetoric is still on display today. The prosecution's people are questioning the marcated line between these posts being "just a joke" and serious threats as well.

https://gab.com/UTR_Updates/posts/107214873672378598 "There is a great deal of Azzmador material being submitted into evidence. They're still in July reading from the Discord chats."

https://twitter.com/socialistdogmom/status/1455995281217146891 ("they are scum", "they deserve their fates" messages)

https://twitter.com/socialistdogmom/status/1455529452633567232 (Daily Stormer - "self-deprecating humor to hide their true feelings")

There's more of it down Molly Conger's feed. Kessler/UTR Updates do a good job, but there's still another side to the story to explore and neither have been as detailed with these sorts of messages.

[–]literalotherkinNorm MacDonald Nationalism 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It's a cat lady responding with outrage to spicy talk. The case is about proving a criminal conspiracy on the part of the defendants to go to UTR and commit racial violence. Nothing in any sane society referenced there proves that at all. But we don't live in a sane society so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The Lipstadt inclusion is a disgrace. She's a fucking Professor Of Jewish Studies for God sake. What possible expertise can she provide in this case? I think the plaintiffs might be so out of touch that they think that due to her participation in the Irving trial she'll be able to dazzle the jury as a celebrity witness. Meanwhile no one but 'Nazis' and Jews have even heard of the rotten old witch and definitely no one on the jury will care.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

she's the one that made up the holocaust

[–]Fonched 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well yes, most of it is ad-hominem, but I am still mining these threads for other interesting arguments they make. Still I don't quite know about the whole thing about something being either a joke or serious (as example, the whole PewDiePipeline video making an argument for all our humor leading to such action).

I will admit that the inclusion of Lipstadt speaks volumes about the prosecution however.

Please note that the recording of the trial audio is prohibited.

OMG we wouldn't want to break the law

[–]MarkimusNational Socialist[S] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Of course we wouldn't, they will happily give a nationalist a life sentence for some kind of conspiracy for doing this. Laws are always enforced selectively.
