This has been going on for some time now, but it seems it's only become a more pronounced thing.

Leftists seem to constantly be using words and concepts that were once sticking points for conservatives. Like: "accountability", "be responsible", "consequences" as well as asserting that there are "no excuses" when someone (especially on the right) has a misstep.

I used to think maybe they were just throwing these terms back in the faces of conservatives, but it actually seems like most have genuinely adopted these terms.

The funny thing is, they've ended up with just another hierarchical system, where in their mind, the losers were just "irresponsible" and "shouldn't make excuses". But before the left had won the culture war, they always fought against this mode of thought as rigid, black and white thinking from conservative blockheads.
