I am pro Wehrmacht, pro Nazi in the the most abstract, philosophical sense, most certainly anti-democratic, but dead set against Hitler. I hate him the way many of his best generals did, for losing the war, the vile disregard he had for his own men and people.

Same here. If he had died of a heart attack in January of 1939 or even January of 1941, the world would've been an infinitely better place. In a time of war, a country needs to be led by soldiers. Finland and Spain got lucky and they received generals at the helm. Italy and Germany got unlucky and received corporals at the helm.

In the end, Hitler ran the war like a corporal would: boneheaded and bereft of foresight.
