In the Netherlands those types of black immigrants (especially the ones from Suriname), as well as other woke anti-white leftists, usually bring up the atrocities of the VOC (Dutch East India Company) and the WIC (Dutch West India Company) in an attempt to guilt trip us for our past.

Suriname (a former Dutch colony that became independent in 1975) and the Netherlands Antilles/Caribbean (still sort of a Dutch colony) used to be WIC-owned colonies where black African slave labor was used until we abolished slavery in 1863 (hence why most blacks in the Netherlands are from those areas), similarly to other former European colonies like Haiti, America, and Brazil (even though the scale of Dutch slavery pales in comparison to American slavery, and the scale of American slavery in turn pales in comparison to Brazilian slavery), so from their perspective, bringing it up is an effective tactic to deface Dutch history and instill white guilt in us.

The key to completely absolving ourselves from white guilt is realizing that whatever atrocities our ancestors might've committed were also committed by practically any other race, in an at least as brutal if not more brutal fashion; it's just that our ancestors often did it at a larger scale, simply due to the fact that we were technologically and intellectually superior and thus more effective at it, not because of some supposed inherent capacity for evil unique to the white race, which anti-white scum love accuse us of.
