I watched Dune last night. Surprisingly it wasn't terrible. Fight scenes were top notch.

Try to watch it with good video and sound. I was using a crappy monitor and shit download and regret it because the cinematography and set design were very good. I prey all the capeshit cucks don't ruin the franchise by hugging it to death. There was some globo homo shit. I did not like chani or black Liet Kynes. The Fremen were also seemingly multi racial. Javier Bardem didn't have many lines but held his own as Stilgar.

Shoutout to u/jasoncarswell for making the https://saidit.net/s/dune subverse.

Zendaya is supposed to be some irresistible babe, but honestly, she just looks like the neighborhood girl you wouldn't shoot a second glance at.

It's also appalling how they made the fremen all black. In the books, they're supposed to be Mediterranean in appearance, like Paul and Leto Atreides as well. If they wanted to go for diversity, they could've at least made the fremen Arabs. The fremen are essentially bedouins in space and Paul is a Muhammad-like figure. The only diversity Hollywood can deploy is black.

Chalement is half Jewish, half white, but he easily passes for a white Frenchmen.

In any case, Dune has a magnificent story. The books really should've ended at God Emperor of Dune, but Frank Herbert dragged it on and died before it could end. It's really less science fiction and more like political fiction.

For those unfamiliar with the work, Star wars ripped everything off of Dune. The Jedi order is the Bene Gesserit. The trade federation is the spacing guild. In dune, the story happens on the desert planet of Arrakis, in star wars the hero starts off in the desert planet of Tatooine. The Jedi mind trick is the Bene Gesserit voice.

In star wars the villain is the hero's father, in Dune the villain is the hero's grandfather. In star wars, Padme dies giving birth to two twins. In Dune, Chani dies giving birth to two twins. In star wars, the sith are the evil version of the Jedi. In Dune, the honored matre are the evil version of the Bene Gesserit. In star wars there is the force, in dune there is prescience.

In star wars, Anakin is the chosen one of prophecy. In Dune, Paul Atreides is the Kwisatz hederach of prophecy.

In short, star wars is essentially dune for dumb people.

Agreed, and not only was Sean Young more beautiful she was also based.

Call me a dunce but I never realized that Chani in the 1980 Dune movie was the replicant girl from Blade Runner. I had an instant crush on her the first time I saw Blade runner. She has an aristocratic face.

Sean Young

Yum.

Flawless.

Would have loved her to be Cat Woman a while back.

It's a classic hero's journey story, laid out in three parts. It's also a very red pilling story from a manosphere perspective. Luke is the nice, noble guy but the ladies aren't interested in him in the least. They all lust for the handsome, roguish Han solo. It's a good lesson for teenage boys. Chad slays, brad pays.

Insightful.
Strange that in almost 40 years I'd not made any of those Star Wars connections, partly because I'd read the books 17 or 18 years before the Star Wars prequels came out.

I am guessing it is markedly inferior to Blade Runner 2049, which I regard as a masterpiece arguably on par with the original.

Thanks for noticing. IMO, Dune is dry (literally and figuratively) but at least incorporates more interesting complex politics than just typical sci-fi good vs evil. Plus some of the concepts are so unique they stick in my mind decades after reading them. These alone influence my own unshared work, if only in general aspiration.

Reading the synopsis and acclaim I was expecting to love the Dune book but I found it underwhelming. Thought the movie could still be interesting but it actually lacked a lot of intrigue and world building that were the best parts of the book. Dune has a lot of cool ideas but I never found the story or characters engaging.

I want the Germans to discover themselves again. Being soaked in Allied propaganda for 75 years may be too much.

The Germans are wracked with guilt for starting two world wars that led to the death of millions of Europeans. They have renounced all militarism and nationalism since the event. Other euros renounced nationalism as well but not to the same extent as Germans.

Germany was allowed to have 300,000 troops under the 1990 reunification deal. They have less than 200,000. Her occupier, the US, begs her to increase her military, but she refuses.

    It's a very sad tale.

47% of the surveyed French electorate is in favor of the right

Zemmour gets 16% and Le Pen gets 15%. Together they have 31%. Cuckservatives aren't right wing.

I'm not really anti or pro Zemmour. I'm just making an observation. Zemmour spits out a lot of seemingly based rhetoric but do the French really need another Jew leader? Nice falling for the 'gun toting american redneck' psyop though.

Come on now, you might not be wrong but be nice. They are well-meaning and capable people who have been led around by the nose for generations. Among Americans they are probably the most likely to be sympathetic to third positionists. All they need is a charismatic leader to focus their energies. Honestly, we all need one of those.

Not sure what to think about Zemmour. I've been watching some clips of him lately and he seems pretty based. Especially on women which is an important metric for a politicians to pass for me. However, I'm tired of all the bait and switch with politicians. What's Zemmour background? Is he just going to sell out the French and change positions once he's in power or is he the real deal?

On "glowie"/fed activity: How does the theory that agents make the right look bad compare to the left's opposite explanation that states these people joined the government as a vehicle to advance their beliefs (or that they are responsible for the entire rise of the Alt-Right in the first place)?

    [–]nordmannenLegionnaire 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

I don't think the aim is to make right wing movements look bad, rather to get vulnerable right wingers susceptible to entrapment to do stupid things. It's actually a very valuable tool because they control the narrative as well. Leftoids also believe the US is a white supremacist country and that's obviously not true either, so why would it matter what they say about federal infiltrators? It's funny because feds engaged in the same shenanigans to leftist groups throughout the 20th century, and they bitched about it the same way we do. The difference is, now that they have institutional control, feds and leftist groups are virtually indistinguishable See Anonymous, BLM, or all the antifa activists who are either associated with or literally are federal agents.

On the flipside, every fed plot within right wing circles, such as the fedwaffen or the retard plots to kidnap governors and congressmen, has done nothing but tarnished the dissident right in the US. How is this advancing our beliefs or giving rise to any alt-right movements? These people destroy movements, get innocent people arrested, and smear our names in the MSM.

Also, sorry I didn't get back to you on last week's thread. If you want to continue that let me know, I'm just a busy guy.

Great explanation as to why this whole fed thing isn't weighted towards oppressing the left as a whole. Your view on how the DR has weakened on part of these fed events while the left has not is solid though.

Thanks for asking. I wouldn't mind if you can continue it anyway.

Alright cool. Without getting too personal, where do you stand politically? Maybe I'm reading into your flair too much but I'm assuming you're uncertain about your worldview. Can you expand on that a little?

For me, I have only been an average Dissident Right person for some time. The "On the fence" flair signifies that I have been doing some research into various talking points, including those often neglected by members of the DR that will determine where to go next. I have been working on this for a moment in here with my posts, therefore I am not involved with any subcultures or anything even deeply.

    [–]nordmannenLegionnaire 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I got you. It seems like you're on a noble voyage, hopefully you will continue it with us. I can appreciate your approach to these matters.

So, to wrap up the fed conversation, just watch the recruitment ads for federal agencies. Both the FBI and the CIA have a very clear agenda they want to push. Even a cursory glance at these agencies breaks down all white supremacy arguments. It should also be pointed out that the things feds say never actually match up with things authentic nationalists say, and this is because they are trying to play a role, not because they actually believe what they are saying. For reference: does this look like white supremacy to you?

As for your spiritual journey, I'll preface this by saying there are a lot of people here that I agree with who are atheists. The relationship between religion, specifically Christianity, and dissident right politics is a little complicated. I do believe that Christianity is not just compatible with the third position, but validates and justifies the third position. This is because of my sincere belief in the Christian Trinitarian God and I believe Jesus died for our sins. If you are seeking Christianity, you will never be debated into accepting these beliefs, you have to truly accept these tenets in your heart. This is where your spiritual foundation should be, and everything else branches from this. Truthfully, the best way for you to do research on Christianity is to go to a church, attend a liturgical service, and speak with the parish priest. As an Orthodox Christian, I encourage you to find a Russian, Antiochian, or Serbian church and immerse yourself in our world. This is leagues better than getting lost in online Christianity, a lesson I had to learn a few years ago. I'm not telling you to stop reading material online, but it is very easy to get tunnel visioned on certain things that you miss the bigger picture, and it's usually more harmful for someone's religious journey than it is helpful.

    [–]Fonched 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Indeed, I plan to ask more questions and make new threads regarding my newest revelations, so that I can obtain answers to some of the most confounding questions, debate, and let the rest of the sphere know.

They most often make the case when they pull up those "Neo-Nazis employed by [insert government agency here]" articles, but mostly it's their first assumption when hearing about the entrapment cases if they're not denying it (the pushback when Tucker first reported on 1/6 FBI involvement, "The Far Right's Fear of Glowies" in The Atlantic).

Religion-wise, my discussion into what the Bible says on these subjects is about all I need to hear for now. I will try and practice more when I feel and have the time to do so.

    [–]nordmannenLegionnaire 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You might not be surprised to know the history of feds involved in disrupting dissident politics goes back pretty far, as I've mentioned before. The FBI admits that more than 1/5 of KKK membership were feds (the real number is probably much higher). Federal involvement with leftist organizations has largely been memory holed which is regretful, as many authentic leftists were prosecuted after being entrapped by feds, something they tend to forget happened. And of course, now the narrative is that dissident right-wingers are paranoid about feds like they aren't actually a problem while simultaneously there are so many "white supremacists" within federal agencies. To use a cringe Orwell term, the doublethink is remarkable.

I am open to fielding questions about Christianity and the Bible. I'm not a theological expert but I do enjoy talking about this and presenting something I believe in.

The leftoid theory of this has literally nothing to suggest it's true. It's impossible to name a single institution in the entirety of the 'western' world that has trended towards social conservatism, nationalism etc. Every single one of them has trended towards libertinism and is ever increasingly hostile to not only nationalists but white people generally.

How they compare? One is obviously true, that all institutions are hostile to white people and that intelligence services specifically ignore all crimes and instead spend all resources harassing, entrapping etc white people. The other is obviously false and belongs to the realm of fiction, where every institution is secretly filled with white supremacists that just pretend to hate white people to cover their tracks. If this is true then it's remarkable, they not only attack white people in the media 24/7, they also take away their identity, communities, religion, transfer their wealth, hook them on deadly opiates, take away their home ownership etc. All of this to cover up the fact they all secretly hate everyone who isn't white, amazing!

    Hey everybody,

So as I mentioned in my suggestion for a private subreddit, a blackie as well as a "white ally" tried to do the Amy Cooper thing to me by agaitiatj g me with outrageous behavior than filming as I was eating outside in COVID outdoor restaurant seating. Not divulging more details than that publicly. So far, nothing has shown up on social media. I engaged very briefly before assessing the situation and disengaging. Let me know if anyone here (who I know and who is better) is interested.

I hate where I live, I hate these people but not all that easy to get up and move. Anyway, hope everyone is doing ok.

He is noticing something that is true but because he's low IQ and a tv brain completely trapped within liberalism he has a totally retarded understanding of what he's noticing.

What he has really noticed is that materialists, of which all leftism is, have no sense of transcendence and thus they are incapable of producing art. This of course includes what he calls the right wing or conservatives, which are just leftists IE they're rooted in materialism and individualism.

The problem with his framing of it is that he thinks that the 'left wing' of leftism IE marxism, left-liberalism, anarchism etc somehow are the segment that represent art. It doesn't take a genius to understand that this is patently false, take a look at any realm that you would consider a part of high culture: painting, music, architecture, sculpture, philosophy, poetry, literature etc. Which of these has its greats being liberals, marxists, anarchists? None of them. In fact you can literally just look at the art produced in the Third Reich alone and it towers above the entirety of leftist Culture that has ever existed, effortlessly.

Everything that is truly spectacular is transcendent, it represents the Good, the True, and the Beautiful. The actual right have a monopoly on these concepts as materialists simply don't believe that they exist. All greatness has come out of spiritual men, in the modern era they've all been reactionaries or fascists, in the pre-modern era they represented what everyone believed.
