The US percentage of black population has been staying flat at 13% for years but hispanics are zooming ahead.

Hispanics value whiteness and often identify primarily as whites. It's an interesting situation, watching the "melting pot" work.

Yes, I've lived in Mexico and you can usually see that their social rank is tied to their whiteness. I stood beside the effigy of the ex-president of Mexico (who was Pepsi CEO) in Ripley's D.F. Museum and barely came up to his shoulders. The man was huge and white.

I think part of that is they're immigrants and never speak english. They're watching tv shows that have latino people in ads but they're not on the same channels we're watching.

The majority of American hispanics and 2nd, 3rd, even 4th generation immigrants. They mostly watch the same entertainment as everyone else.
