Yeah, that's true. The thing is white nations aren't that into cricket for understandable reasons. Countries want to play sports their peers do. The English like football more because their European peers all play football. If France and Italy tomorrow picked up cricket for some reason, the rest of Europe would slowly start to play as well.

I have a hunch that Germans would be quite good at cricket. Cricket is all about strategy and calculations, and the Germans have an innate military brain. If they put their mind into it, I bet they'd kill at it. Hell, even if cricket was the first sport in England and Australia, they'd be invincible. Australia already won the cup five times and yet cricket is only the 3rd most popular sport there.
