It's not specifically related to our ideas but I was going on a bit of a Dick Cavett Show deep dive recently and it's really refreshing and quite White Pilling for me. It just goes to show how base and stupid our culture has become in merely a few decades. Something to aim for as well and a reminder that it doesn't have to be like this.

Some specific highlights are a really great interview he had with Frank Zappa after the ADL had targeted him because of his 'Jewish American Princess' song. Guy sounds like one of us when he talks about the ADL and this was on a syndicated nationally broadcast TV show. The Norman Mailer vs Gore Vidal segment is a gem especially Dick's insult directed at Mailer.

There's heaps of other great clips too and it's just satisfying to watch intelligent people discuss things without the horrible sense of dread about saying the wrong thing we encounter with all public discussion today.
