A bit of an outrageous title but I believe that's what's been done to the people of Germany and Japan after WW2. They have been mentally castrated and put out to pasture.

Imagine if a man broke into your house, beat you up, and then raped your wife. Afterward, you with your swollen eye and she with her torn clothes had to walk down to the street with him, hold hands, smile and say he is now your new friend and you are happy to have him in your house.

If you had to do something like that, you'd be mentally shattered. You'd become suicidal and self-loathing or worse, turn into his gimp.

That's what's been done to these two countries. Both are very IQ nations with a very rich history of martial prowess, high culture, and warrior ethics. Germany was the home of European chivalry and Japan had an aristocratic high culture for almost a thousand years.

Yet in ww2, both these countries were shattered. Millions of tons of bombs were dropped on them. In Japan they force the Emperor, their living God to bow and scrape before Mcarthur and meet with peasants. Their military was entirely disbanded and they fell at the mercy of their American occupants.

Germany had it worse. They were bombed and the Soviets afterward raped almost 2 million German women and straddled them with the trauma of rape babies and abortions. The country was split in two, a quarter of their lands were given to Poland and 12 million people were expelled from their ancestral lands in Prussia.

And after all this horrible humiliation, they did not even have the luxury of feeling hate or resentment towards their tormentors. East Germans had to smile and hold hands with their Soviet rapists and plunderers while Japan and West Germany had to do so with their American tormentors.

As a result, both nations have become mentally castrated. Germans don't take pride in being Germans, they only feel shame and feel little desire to protect their heritage. Japan doesn't have such self-hatred but they have become herbivorous men. Their government and overlord want them to increase military strength but the population itself doesn't want to.

Thought the trauma and guilt are far greater in Germany for having caused and lost two world wars in addition to the mass soviet rape, plunder, loss of Prussia, and expulsion of millions from their homes.

How does one cure such nations? Is the only option to wait for time to pass and the generations to largely forget the trauma and humiliation? Is it for them to suffer some disaster and shake out of their apathy.

Germany is the economic heart of Europe and any change in her destiny must involve the Germans.
