The Roman population was declining somewhat, though. People were not marrying or having children. The Romans knew of various methods of birth control, and were able to enjoy sex without the burden of pregnancy. Thats why Augustus had to intervene and introduce a bachelor tax.

Pacifism imo is an example of a civilization lacking this will to life and vigor. A virile civilization is willing to risk life and limb for survival, glory or greater resources. A weak and decadent society is unwilling to exert such effort, they simply lack the will.

Part of it is fear of losing what they already have.

In regards to the point of pacifism, it's important that if our people regain the motivated, fighting spirit that it is weaponized for an effective cause and not towards foreign conflict. US foreign policy since WW2 has been an objective cancer on the world along with the American populace. Our fight must that which fights back against our ethnic replacement, strengthens our people and fights to help and prepare the world for the climate crisis.
